Northern1 International Insurance Brokers OÜ (Northern1) is an insurance brokerage company which is entered into the list of insurance brokers of the Financial Supervision Authority (www.fi.ee) and who engages, for a remuneration and based on a brokerage contract, in insurance distribution. Northern1 is licensed to conduct insurance mediation activities in all European Union countries and Iceland.
It is known that in Estonia, dental care for adults is supported by the state in a minimal amount. Northern1, together with an international insurer, took a risk and started mediating the first private dental insurance contracts in Estonia in 2008, so that like in other developedn countries Estonians would have an opportunity to insure their possible dental expenses if they wish to do that.
